1. What requires an appointment?
ONLINE appointment required for: Visa application, Japanese passport application/collection, residence/signature certificates.
EMAIL appointment required for: police clearance certificate (please click here to see what details must be sent by email to book) & all family registrations (please email here - request a date and time and which registration you will be lodging)
NO appointment required for: visa collection, police clearance collection, my number card collection, voting related processes.

VISA APPLICANTS – PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
Upon arrival at the Consulate-General of Japan in Brisbane, please show your appointment confirmation email to security. This email proof of booking along with physical photo ID is REQUIRED to enter our office.
Any incomplete applications (i.e. missing documents/information) will NOT be accepted. You will be asked to make another appointment to come back and lodge your application.
