Introduction
The Culture and Education section of the Consulate-General plays a role in enhancing understanding of Japan by the Australian public in areas such as politics, society and culture.
The section also takes part in a wide variety of arts and cultural events, organises exchanges and provides information to schools, libraries and anyone interested in learning more about Japan.
The Culture and Education section is also active in supplying local educational institutions with resource materials on Japan. These include booklets, maps, posters, DVD's and other materials being loaned to schools, libraries and other community facilities free of charge.
